Background and Objectives

Anticipatory Medication Pocket Cards. Do they improve confidence and competence in FY1s?

This was a pilot study to evaluate the impact of anticipatory medication pocket cards on confidence and competence with prescribing common end of life medications. The use of the medication cards was evaluated via electronic survey. This demonstrated that doctors with access to the cards felt they were a useful resource as well as improving their competence in prescribing these important medications.
